Association of Election Officials in BiH issued special edition of the newsletter “Elections”


Association of Election Officials in BiH (AEOBIH) issued special edition of the newsletter „Elections“printed in 30.000 copies. Distribution of this newsletter starts today.

Newsletter “Elections” promotes importance of going out to vote and it contains information regarding accountability of elected officials and apathy of voters, information about economy situation and standard of life in BiH, news about elections, and list of verified lists of parties and coalitions which participates in the elections.

The aim of announcement of this information is stimulation and encouragement for going out to polls at the elections in October 2006, as well as to send strong message to citizens, especially the ones who hesitate to go out to vote that politicians are not irreplaceable and that voters’ task is to hold “elected officials” responsible.

The first issue of the newsletter also promotes action of citizens known as “GROZD” through which more than one hundred of nongovernmental organizations, syndicates, associations of pensioners from both entities join in the movement for dignity of citizens of BiH and sets twelve priority aims as request for future government.

Free copies of the newsletter “Elections“ will be distributed by the AEOBiH Secretariat as well as activists of the Youth Information Agency throughout BiH, and citizens will have opportunity to take it at stands of GROZD.
